the weather cooled down over the weekend and as much as i love summer, i got a little excited about bundling us all up in hats, scarves, and knits. i even went out and re-stocked holden’s winter closet since he has outgrown every single item from last year and bought the cutest hats and gloves and scarves and furry boots. but then today it went back up to 75 and tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the upper 80′s, so i guess all of those fun new accessories will have to be put away for a little bit longer. for now, i will leave you with my favorite cold weather accessories for the little man in your life.

life with holden is so much fun. at the end of each day, as we relax on the couch after holden is tucked into bed all snug and tight, i often find myself telling dustin
he was so fun today.
holden is my little love bug.
i literally wake up each and every morning to holden giving me a giant kiss on the lips. and if i don’t open my eyes, he continues with his kisses, laughing in delight when my eyes finally pop open.
i’m pretty sure that holden thinks waking up is the best thing in the entire world and i’ve realized that it’s pretty impossible for me to ever wake up on the wrong side of the bed (regardless of how tired i may be) when i wake up to holden’s grinning face.
i think we should all take a cue from kids who are always happy and excited to wake up each and every morning and
realize that each day is a blessing that holds new possibilities.
